Privacy Practice
Our professional team can assist eligible individuals with behavioral health challenges for individuals 3 and up as well as help with substance use disorder treatment. We can assist you with education regarding disease management, as well as assist you with referrals to other helpful resources in our community. We provide holistic care – including treating family vocational, spiritual, relationships – wrapping around the conditions the consumer wishes to address.
Outpatient Behavioral Health
Outpatient behavioral health utilizes a team approach to provide care. This can include case management, peer support, substance use specialists and a medication management provider.
You may receive these services in our programs including Substance Use Disorders, Adult Mental Health, Children & Youth Services at any of our locations.
Medication Services
Our providers will meet with consumers to discuss the best medication approach for your behavioral health needs. We also provide Medication Assisted Treatment services.
Therapy
Goal oriented therapy is provided when a person is experiencing behavioral health issues that interfere with his/her ability to adjust to personal, family, school/work, or social situations. Therapy can be utilized to assist the individual in maximizing strengths, reducing behavioral problems, and improving coping abilities. The individual and/or family will be encouraged to be involved in developing the treatment plan and working towards goal achievement to assist in improving their ability to communicate and function in a more positive manner.
Evidence based practices available include:
- Neurosequential Model of Treatment
- Parent-Child Interactive Therapy
- Eye movement desensitization and re-processing (EMDR)
- Cognitive behavioral therapy
- Trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy
- Solution focused therapy
Crisis Intervention
Family Guidance Center has qualified mental health professionals to address individuals that may be experiencing a behavioral health crisis. Our staff respond to situations throughout our 9 county area 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
